What we see on HubSpot CMS sites

What HubSpot CMS does well
  • HubSpot CMS sites have the highest rate of explicit lead capture elements of any platform in our corpus -- forms, CTAs, and gated content appear on nearly every page. The platform is built to convert.
  • The CRM connection creates measurable on-page behavior. These sites are designed to move visitors into a sales process, and the page architecture reflects it.
  • Content personalization shows up more on HubSpot sites than anywhere else -- smart content, CTA variants by lifecycle stage, adaptive landing pages.
Common issues
  • The HubSpot tracking beacon loads on every page even when GA4 covers the analytics need. It's heavier than a standalone analytics tag.
  • Blog posts that rank well individually but aren't linked strategically to product or service pages. Content and commerce don't always connect.
  • Pricing pages that drive visitors into a sales conversation instead of showing prices. Sometimes intentional; often a lost conversion.
Things we've noticed
  • The HubSpot tracking pixel is the single most common third-party tool we see installed on non-HubSpot-CMS sites in our entire corpus. It runs on sites built on WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow -- everywhere.
  • HubSpot CMS sites show the highest form-to-page ratio in our corpus. Nearly every page has a conversion element. The platform is built to capture leads, and the structural pattern is consistent across the entire cohort.
