What we see on Framer sites

What Framer does well
  • Framer sites skew heavily toward technology companies, SaaS products, and design agencies. The corpus is newer and more technically intentional than most platforms.
  • AI-assisted design is visibly changing the Framer corpus. We're seeing more sites built by non-designers with high visual quality -- and sometimes thin content depth.
  • Product screenshots and feature callouts are executed better on Framer sites than on any other platform. The designer-native workflow shows.
Common issues
  • Heavy entrance animations on above-fold content that fire on load. The animation is the design; the LCP impact is the tradeoff.
  • CMS-connected pages with thin AI-generated content. The page exists; the content doesn't differentiate.
  • Analytics and heatmap tools that weren't loaded asynchronously -- added quickly, not thoughtfully.
Things we've noticed
  • Framer is the fastest-growing platform in our corpus by new site count. The AI builder wave is driving significant adoption, and the corpus is visibly younger than any other platform we benchmark.
  • Framer sites in our corpus show a measurable correlation between site age and content quality. Sites under six months old tend toward AI-thin content; sites over a year old show more developed editorial depth.
